[Repair process]

1. Port entry (Port call)
1. Port entry (Port call)
This is the first step when a ship enters a dock for repair. The ship enters Nahari Port and we prepare for repairs.
2. Meeting
2. Meeting
The engineer and shipowner (or crew) confirm and coordinate the details and schedule of the repair work. The necessary parts and contractors are arranged.

*Meetings may be held at the ship’s port of registry or port of call, etc. prior to port entry.
3. Beginning of repair work
3. Beginning of repair work
Repair work officially begins. Once the ship is out of the water, we perform hull inspections, part replacements, and repairs. The engineer in charge monitors and manages the progress of the work.
4. Delivery
4. Delivery
Work is conducted in accordance with an emphasis on safety and our eight guidelines for action.
Upon completion of repairs, the ship is inspected by the shipowner (crew) to ensure that all repairs have been done. The ship is then delivered.
5. Departure (Leaving port)
5. Departure (Leaving port)
Once the delivery is complete, the ship will be ready to leave port (or sail around).
We also provide ship painting services.

Blast cleaning of hulls

Kagoo Dock also provides blast painting for ships of all sizes.
Fouling of the ship’s bottom by seaweed and shells can cause navigation problems and slow the ship down.
We use our years of experience to provide surface treatment to remove old paint and select a paint that best suits the ship’s purpose (rust and stain prevention, etc.).
Ships are coated using sprays and brushes.
